Director, NIRAS Indonesia
David is the Managing Director of NIRAS in Indonesia and has over 15 years of experience working in a diverse range of development-related sectors in Asia. David’s skills include stimulating innovation and collaboration, policy and strategic development, sustainable growth, and encouraging the adoption of technology. Before joining NIRAS, David established his own successful development company in Indonesia, and he worked at several international companies and organisations building his skills in workforce development, vocational training, private-public partnerships, local governance, renewable energy, tourism, agribusiness, monitoring and evaluation, and entrepreneurship. David holds a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Development from Auckland University of Technology, and he is an Associate at both the Sustainability Research Centre at the University of the Sunshine Coast, and Auckland University in New Zealand. He is currently conducting his PhD part-time focused on Innovation in Community Development across remote regions in Indonesia.
